A Fast, Nearly Invisible Option for Straighter Teeth
The team at Chandler Park Dental Care is very happy to offer Invisalign™ clear aligners to our patients. These innovative trays can provide straight teeth much more quickly than traditional braces in most cases. Many patients see full results in only 9 – 15 months! Invisalign can correct such imperfections as crowding, wide spaces, overbite, underbite, and even crossbite.
The Invisalign system uses advanced 3-D computer-imaging technology that allows us to prepare your entire treatment plan, from the current positioning of your teeth to your final smile, at the beginning of your treatment. We take a digital impression of your teeth with our new scanner instead of goopy putty impressions.
The next step is to create clear thermoplastic aligners for your entire treatment plan. These are similar to teeth-whitening trays and are custom made to precisely fit your teeth. The aligners use gentle forces to move your teeth into position. After about two weeks, you insert the next set of aligners and progress through treatment for about a year. Office evaluations are only necessary every four to eight weeks. Total treatment time is based on your personal needs and goals.
Correction with Comfort and Confidence
The Invisalign system has some clear advantages over other methods. The most obvious is how difficult it is for anyone to know you’re straightening your teeth. The clarity of the aligners renders them almost invisible! People would have to know the aligners are there, or look extremely closely, to be able to detect them. This gives you much more confidence in your smile while you are in active treatment. Other benefits of Invisalign are comfort and convenience. The one-piece molded plastic aligners contain no metal or wires to irritate or require adjusting, so you get to spend less time in the dentist’s chair. Another factor is hygiene. You’ll wear the aligners while you sleep and during the entire day but remove them to eat, which means there are no food or beverage restrictions. Then, before you reinsert the aligners, you brush and floss as easily as ever, with no brackets and wires getting in the way or catching and holding plaque-building food. Dr. Hall has achieved the experience necessary to be rated an Invisalign Preferred Provider, giving you further reason to be confident of your results!
